At Toyako Boat Club, the safety and well-being of our members and guests are of paramount importance. All members and visitors are expected to adhere to the safety guidelines and regulations set forth by the club. By participating in any club activity, including sailing, training, or rentals, you acknowledge that there are inherent risks associated with water sports, and you agree to assume those risks.

Liability
Toyako Boat Club, its staff, and its volunteers are not liable for any personal injury, damage to property, or loss of life that may occur during club activities, including boating and other recreational events. All members and guests are required to sign a liability waiver before engaging in any sailing activities. This waiver includes the understanding that the club takes reasonable precautions to maintain safety standards but cannot guarantee an entirely risk-free environment.

Damage to Boats and Property
The club strives to maintain its fleet of boats and equipment in excellent condition. Members are responsible for any damage caused to club property during their use, whether through negligence, improper handling, or accidents. In the event of damage to a boat or other club property, the responsible party will be required to cover the cost of repairs or replacement. We strongly encourage all members to follow the club’s operational guidelines to prevent such incidents.

Endangerment of Human or Animal Life
The club is committed to ensuring the safety of all individuals on and around Lake Toya. Any act of recklessness, endangerment, or violation of safety regulations that puts human or animal life in danger will not be tolerated. Such behavior may result in suspension or termination of membership. Members are expected to act responsibly, ensuring that their actions do not endanger themselves, others, or wildlife in the area.

By adhering to these guidelines, we aim to maintain a safe, enjoyable, and respectful environment for everyone at Toyako Boat Club.
